Tarneit Gardens, Victoria – The Verma family
For homebuyers Neelamber Verma and his wife Meenu, the decision to purchase their first home at Tarneit Gardens was made with care.
“It was important for us to make sure we bought a property that suited our needs now, as well as our future needs, ” said Mr Verma, who explained the key to finding the right home was research.
“We visited all the land estates in the areas we were interested in, and evaluated each one in terms of our needs: affordability, location and facilities,” he explained.
“The land at Tarneit Gardens was affordably priced, a critical factor for us,” said Mr Verma.
“The estate is perfectly located near public transport links, which will make travel into work easy.”
The Verma’s young son Neilansh was the impetus for their final selection criteria – the services and facilities available at the estate.
“Tarneit Gardens is close to a number of excellent educational facilities, and future plans for the estate include a school onsite,” said Mr Verma.
“My wife loved the estate the minute we visited it. The parks and playgrounds are ideal, and it’s located conveniently close to everything we need – shops, transport and more. The estate also has a real community feeling, which is really important for a growing family.”

Burns Beach Estate, WA - The Lloyd family
Within weeks of arriving in Perth, English couple Andrew and Natasha Lloyd and their two boys became proud landowners at Burns Beach Estate.
The Lloyds said Burns Beach Estate’s lifestyle enticed them to set up their new life at the coastal community.
“We were exploring the area, looking for a place to settle and took a drive down Burns Beach Road. We fell in love with the Estate immediately,” said Mr Lloyd.
“It has a lovely feel to it and it’s exactly the kind of lifestyle we were looking for.”
The competitive price of the homesites and features of the Estate, including the beachside facilities and convenient location near Joondalup and the Mitchell Freeway, were major drawcards.
“The transport links from Burns Beach are excellent,” added Mr Lloyd, whose move to Perth was prompted by a job opportunity.
Mr Lloyd’s son Zacc, who is nine years-old, is already enrolled in one of the local schools, while 11 month-old Gabriel and mum, Natasha, plan to make the most of the favourable climate, the parks and beach.
Cardinia Lakes – Carol and Barrie Sinclair
Carol and Barrie Sinclair have purchased a homesite at Cardinia Lakes and are looking forward to building their new home.
“We discovered Cardinia Lakes after a referral from our builder, Premier Homes,” said Mr Sinclair. “We took a drive out to have a look, and it instantly appealed to us. It felt like home.”
Mr Sinclair said that the community’s layout was excellent and they could see what it was going to be like living there. The Sinclairs, who are enthusiastic walkers, said the plans for the lake parks were an added attraction.
“We live an active lifestyle and are looking forward to using the planned walkways around the lakes.”
Cardinia Lakes’ location in Pakenham will be ideal for Carol and Barrie, as their children have settled in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
“It’s a good choice for us. The lifestyle at Cardinia Lakes will suit us perfectly – it’s relaxed and the parks and gardens are lovely.
Greenvale Lakes – The Elley Brothers
Family is very important to Duraid Elley and brothers Danny, Daile and David – so much so that they have purchased four adjoining homesites at Peet Limited’s Greenvale Lakes community.
Family has always come first for us,” said Duraid. “We immigrated to Australia in 2002 to join a number of aunts, uncles and cousins who had already made the long journey from Iraq.”
“We each wanted our own home but also wanted to remain close together. For us, the solution was to find four homesites next to each other,” explained Duraid. “It was the perfect opportunity for us and we were able to secure exactly what we needed. We have lived very happily at Greenvale Lakes to date and really like the neighbourhood.”
Duraid said that the estate’s quality, affordability and development plans also contributed to the family’s decision to purchase at Greenvale Lakes.
“We are looking forward to building our new homes,” said Duraid, “It’s just right for our family.”
